This creation embodies the essence of life (both cosmic & organic) and expresses the potency of our distilled qi/energy. Essence brings into vibrancy the essentials we share with all life.
In its alchemic composition, Essence brings together a sense of balance, harmony, grace, and oneness. Focusing on the mandala center, we peer into the ‘yoni’ of creation, the doorway from the galactic into the independently tangible world. This central focus is also a retina of the ‘all seeing eye,’ which glances with great perspective onto the natural world, represented via the flowers and leaves. The general (sacred) geometry orbiting the eye, is a portion of the “Tree of Life” also referred to as the “Kabbalah” translating in Hebrew to “parallel or corresponding.” This symbol became a part of a ‘received tradition’ as an esoteric method, discipline and school of thought originated in Judaism. Helping direct the lines between the main kabbalah points are swords and wands. These are two of the 4 magical weapons, related to the 4 suits of the tarot. Wands are magic and represent the element fire. The wand, a phallic masculine symbol, balances the receptiveness of the cup/chalice (seen lower in painting). The swords are of the element air, the divisive power of reason and logic. The 4th magical weapon, the plate (also referred to as disk), brings grounding to the various “corresponding” elements. Disk is earth; it is supporting and holding up the others. It is the foundation and the final resting place of the droplet which has gone through its process (from fire to water) of alchemical distillation. This droplet is medicine, conjured up from the hands of a Curandera alchemist, who brings the cosmic understanding of oneness into the physical realm, the plate that sits upon the humble back of Saraswati's swan. Saraswati and her totem swan are consorts of knowledge, learning, science, and music. This creation is in the (alchemical) process of becoming an album cover for mystical music man. His music matches the harmony found in this pieces marked my symmetry and the perfectly fitting yin-yang symbols.
